In many Asian societies, festivals generate a massive amount of discarded gift boxes, many of which are made from durable tin with unique designs and embossing.
Bunny in a Hurry repurposes these tin boxes into a charming wind-powered mechanical toy. Collected from the community, the tin boxes are carefully disassembled, flattened into sheets, and cut into precise shapes using a die-cutting machine. The assembly is simple, making it an accessible hands-on project.
Additionally, the bunny’s windmill is crafted from recycled wallpaper samples, enhancing its durability and water resistance while giving new life to discarded materials.
